INFRASTRUCTURE DEPARTMENT
The Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA) Infrastructure Department aims to ensure that other services and obligations including hospital support services are well-managed, planned and delivered according to the government's and HASA requirements under the concession agreement, with a focus on patient safety and the quality of asset management services including the entire hospital and building areas. The Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah Infrastructure Department ensures that hospital asset management services comply with government needs and policy and monitor the concessions to carry out comprehensive maintenance operations of the day to the hospital for the concession period. The Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah Infrastructure Department also aims to provide effective and efficient management for asset management services including;

OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT
- To ensure that the Healthcare Fasility in HASA is provided with safe, functional and support facilities and equipment for patients, families, staff and visitors.
- To ensure the facilities, equipment and maintenance shall be effectively managed to reduce and control hazards and risks, and prevent accidents and injuries.
- To monitor the implementation of the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) such Facility Management Services (FMS), Facilities Engineering Services (FEMS), Biomedical Engineering Services (BEMS), Cleansing Services (CLS), Linen and Laundry Services (LLS), Hospital Waste Management Services (HWMS) according to PFI contract documents.
- To monitor the implementation of PPM (Plan Preventive Maintenance) of facilities and equipment being done on schedule.
- To ensures timely response of any complaints by the Concession Company in accordance with the provisions in the contract document such not exceeding 10 minutes for emergency complaints and not more than 1 hours for normal complaints
- To monitor and record any complaints that the Concession Company not undertakes within 15 days of completion.
FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT
REGULATING HOSPITAL CLINICAL SUPPORT SERVICES
- Manage and carry out inspections of the works carried out by the concessionaire based on the guidelines that have been set.
- Checking the service performance of the Concession Company through a survey on the Computerized Asset Management System, CAMS.
- Checking and confirming the concession company's monthly Asset Management Services Charges (AMSC) through the Hospital Payments and Claims Verification Committee Meeting (JPBTH).
- Checking Technical Reports (Condition Appraisal, Technical Advice, Incident Reports, Complaint, BER)
- Ensuring that all six services provided by the concession company are in compliance with the agreement documents and guidelines that have been set.
TECHNICAL ADVISORY FUNCTION
- Provide correct and accurate technical advice reports to users regarding a system or equipment.
- Ensure that technical advice delivered is followed by users to ensure the safety of patients and staff in particular.
DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPLY PROCUREMENT PROJECT EXECUTIVE AND MONITOR
- Implement the monitoring of development and engineering projects effectively and the projects can be completed according to the contract period that has been set.
- Carry out technical evaluation for the procurement of work and supplies on tender/quotation documents
EQUIPMENT PREPARATION FUNCTION FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF OFFICIAL HOSPITAL PROGRAMS/CEREMONIES
- Prepare a service contract for the rental of HASA official program/meeting equipment
- Ensure that the organization of official programs/meetings that have been approved can be carried out properly in terms of providing the necessary equipment.
