WORKING VISIT OF THE MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION WITH ECONOMIC PLANNING UNIT, PRIME MINISTER'S DEPARTMENT (UPE, JPM) AND PRIVATE PUBLIC COOPERATION UNIT, PRIME MINISTER'S DEPARTMENT (UKAS, JPM) TO UiTM PUNCAK ALAM HOSPITAL
1 July 2022 - HUiTM today received a working visit from the Ministry of Higher Education together with the Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister's Department (UPE, JPM) and the Public Private Partnership Unit, Prime Minister's Department (UKAS, JPM). A delegation of 33 people was led by Puan Azlinda Azman, SUB (P) of the MOHE Development Division and was also joined by Tuan Hj. Kamaruzaman Mahmood, SUB (W), Mrs. Amirthavalli A/P A.V. Muthiah, KPP Human Capital Development Division (UPE, JPM), Mr. John Patrick Antonysamy, TKP (Development II) and Mr. Abdul Jalil Jamadil Akhir (UKAS, JPM) and Mrs. Foo Sook Fuang, KPP National Budget (Ministry of Finance).
Present to welcome the delegation was Prof. Dato 'Ir. Ts. Dr Haji Mohd Fozi Ali, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development), Prof. Dr. Sazzli Shahlan Kasim, Director of HUiTM, Encik Azlan Shah Tan Sri Rozali, Managing Director of Puncak Niaga Holdings Berhad, Dato 'Jamal Buyong, Acting Managing Director of TRIplc, HUiTM Management, Heads of Departments and representatives from the Office of Infrastructure Development and Infostructure (PPII ) UiTM.
The main focus of this working visit was to discuss the current status of project implementation, future development planning and the latest developments in services provided by HUiTM. The briefing delivered by the Director of the hospital also shared the aspirations of HUiTM which is taking steps to become a Premier Teaching Hospital and catalyze the development of a "Medical City" for the northern region of Selangor.
The delegation was also taken to visit the facilities at HUiTM including the Children's Ward, Psychiatry Department, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Rehabilitation Medicine Department, Tun Abdul Razak Medical Library as well as Nephrology and Dialysis.
