OBJECTIVES

NURSING PHILOSOPHY

Introduction

The Nursing Department initially started its operation in 2005 at Faculty of Medicine UiTM, with the opening of our research clinic in Pusat Kesihatan Outpatient Clinic in UiTM Campus Shah Alam. Today, the Nursing Department, currently located on Level 5 of Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA). The department is responsible for ensuring that care policies and procedures are implemented safely, with quality, and in a cost-effective manner. We are committed to maintaining an adequate workforce in line with required expertise and current service needs. The department also ensures that all care equipment is functional and safe for client use. In addition, we manage human capital development through training programs focused on character building and the enhancement of professional skills, aiming to continuously improve the quality of services delivered. 
The department consisting of nurses and healthcare assistant from various grades and support personnel. The Professional and Management Group includes Nurses of Grades U12 and U9. The Support Group consists of Nurse Supervisors (Grade U7), Head Nurses (Grade U6), Staff Nurses (Grade U5), and Healthcare Assistants of Grades U1. The department is also supported by administrative personnel from Grades N1.

Nursing services and care activities at HASA serve as the backbone in building a prestigious and leading hospital, committed to delivering excellent service and client satisfaction. This foundation enables the hospital to compete at a global level through continuous improvements in the quality of care provided.
