To all esteemed customers of Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA) UiTM,

Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA) UiTM adheres to the principles of personal data protection under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), which came into effect on November 15, 2013, aimed at overseeing and regulating the processing of personal data in commercial transactions. The terms "personal data," "processing," and "commercial transactions" have the meanings as defined in the PDPA.

This Personal Data Protection Notice applies to any party whose personal data is processed by HASA.

Patients are REQUIRED to provide their personal data to HASA. If patients fail to do so, HASA may not be able to process and/or disclose their personal data for the purposes stated in item (C) of the Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah UiTM personal data protection notice.

As the owners of personal data, patients have the following rights:

1. The right to be informed of the purposes for which patients' personal data is processed.
2. The right of patients to access their personal data when necessary.
3. The right of patients to correct inaccuracies in processed personal data.
4. The right of patients to withdraw consent for the processing of their personal data.
5. The right of patients to block the processing of personal data that may cause harm or inconvenience to the patients.
6. The right to block the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes.
7. The right to freedom from automated decision-making.
